About PixelPixs Event Photos

PixelPixs was the result of a few BlueWater Technologies employees brainstorming to creatively solve a client need. The year was 1999 and our client was looking for a new way to gather CRM data at various events. They wanted something that would be enjoyable for their consumers and create something that the consumer actually wanted to be a part of. Standard CRM data cards were everywhere in the industry and the consumer base was keen to this type of solicitation and typically tried all means necessary to avoid filling one out.

The BlueWater team came up with an idea to draw consumers in by taking photos of them at the events; what better way to get them to go to a website and answer a few simple questions than to have them retrieve something about themselves? Everyone has a built in curiosity to see how their event photo turned out!

These event photos dramatically increased the CRM data collected over traditional methods - PixelPixs had consumers lined up to get their pictures taken! Not only was our client ecstatic, but a new division of BlueWater Technologies called PixelPixs was formed.

PixelPixs is run within BlueWater Technologies as a separate entity with dedicated employees who focus on our product and our clients. Yet, being a part of BlueWater Technologies allows us to have the backing we need to continually research new technologies and provide the best, most advanced event photo product for our clients.
